Instead of writing long articles, I have decided to start writing short posts and this is the first!
JUDGES: The absolute bottom line when it comes to justice and in recent years one of the biggest problems society has had, in attaining justice. For honest citizens and most of all, children, our judges are rapidly being exposed as an American nightmare. Rotten Judges eradicate all of the hard work that is done by investigators and prosecutors, to assure that the right people are tried and convicted. Rotten judges allow juries, who have other agendas, to ride roughshod over us, society, and our courtrooms.
ABOVE: JUDGE JOSEPH WALKER GIVES 19 YEAR OLD FATHER, 90 DAYS IN JAIL, AFTER HE CAME HOME DRUNK AND SLAMMED HIS BABY’S HEAD INTO THE CRIB, KILLING HER. Read here…
When are judges going to be held accountable? When are we going to start passing laws that limit their terms and review their decisions? When are they going to be held accountable for how they run their courtrooms? We are not living in 17th century England and they are not “Kings” or “Dictators”…they are public servants and we pay their salaries!
I think one of the worst things I’ve ever experienced, in my entire life, is watching helplessly, as Judge Belvin Perry allowed an inexperienced thug, to hi-jack his courtroom and turn our justice system into a joke. “Judge” Perry hosted the biggest judicial fiasco in the history of televised trials and I am still bitter that I was forced to watch…and realize…that courtrooms can be this blatantly rotten. No laws. No rules. No justice. No JUDGE on duty!
Rotten, rotten, rotten to the core and the smell of it, still so bad, I fear it will never go away.
Judge Perry allowed the defendant and her attorney’s, to shoot the bird in his courtroom, gesture to the public (the same public that they now expect to embrace them), stick their tongues out at America (the same America they now want to befriend) and turn Perry’s courtroom into a National joke.
Why is he still on the bench?
Another disgrace in the news recently is Judge G. Todd Baugh, far too old to be on the bench without some kind of regular mental evaluation and review. It should be a requirement after 65, that judges are still able to make honorable, rational and logical decisions. Judges need to be able to remember the law. This is not a social gathering where we are asking someone to leave and have to worry about being rude. This is our system of justice, it’s a job and an important one. We need to force judges, to show us why they should be allowed to stay…every single year they are on the bench.
Case in point: Judge Sherry K. Stevens. Absolutely the weakest, most ineffective and unqualified judge I’ve seen, in a first degree murder case, since Judge Ito. Here is a case where clearly, the judge is out of her league and the fact that she is turning her courtroom over to a psychopath and again…unqualified attorneys are being allowed to turn our system into an extremely expensive joke…all paid for by the citizens of Arizona, is reason to take her off of this case asap. It’s outrageous and the taxpayers should be able to consider this terrible performance and the results it has netted them…next year, because she should have to face a board and earn her re-election. Either that or perform duties that are more within her scope.
Bad performances like this need to come up in yearly reviews and Judges should be on their best behavior all year, every day and worry about their jobs every time they fall asleep at the wheel, or abuse their power.
Judges need to be re-elected on a yearly basis and have to answer for turning predators back out into our society. Arbitrarily undermining police work and the work the prosecutors do to build a case, is not acceptable.
If we don’t get control of our judges, all of our tax dollars are going for naught.
In summary, there are so many judges in the past ten years and so many blatantly bad, biased, dirty, senile and any other sundry adjectives you want to apply, because it’s that bad. I cannot list them all here.
One thing is clear. It is definitely time for a change, or we are all going to be victims.
